Lazy Days!

Daily Rant

Welcome to my Daily Rant. Hopefully I'll keep this up daily but knowing me it'll be more like a monthly rant!!!

I'm a busy mum of 3 and just thought it would be fun to have my own blog where I can write about my thoughts and frustrations of being a mum! Especially of a teenage daughter.

A Different Day!

Thought I'd better write again today and explain that Claire had the good grace to apologise to James re yesterday's incident. Just as well. So it seems she does have a conscience after all!!!!! She helped out at Brownies tonight so I guess she isn't all bad.

Mr R came back from visiting his Dad tonight, in tears. We've been together @28 years and I don't remember him ever crying. His Dad went into hospital on 20th August and was there until he moved to Westbank Care home last Thursday 23rd September. He has just gone down hill from the moment he went into the hospital and he'll never get home. I just feel so sad about it all. I went to visit on Saturday and just can't get the image of him out of my mind. That is what Mr R saw tonight and it's really hit him and his mum. I really hope his Dad doesn't suffer too long as it's no life just going from a bed to a chair in the same room. It's awful how quickly this has happened.

On a happier note, I met my Primary School friend, Michelle, today for lunch. We had a good catch up and as usual it was as if we'd never been apart.

Bloody Daughter!

I am so mad right now. Had a row with No.1 daughter on Friday night. As usual she mis-interprets what I say and doesn't listen to anyone else's point of view which then decends into an almighty row. However, by today things had calmed down and I'd even just ordered her a new coat. She then starts being horrible to No.1 son. He needs a dictionary for school and she told him not to bother and he'd just get tagged as a boff. Reckons someone at school has been calling him Ginger. I'm so angry with her. Have come to bed as I can't stand to be in the same room as her. She's now having a row with David. She really pushes us to the limit. Could do without it right now as Bill is seriously ill in the Care Home. He'll never come out and I just feel so cut up about it. Why does she have to be so vindictive and nasty all the time? Me and her have always had a fragile relationship but she seems to wind everyone up not just me so it must be her that's at fault. Loads of people tell me how lovely she is - well not at home she isn't. Thinks she knows it all and NEVER listens to anyone else's views. I told her she was a bitch tonight because that is how I felt. She was really knocking James's confidence. Wish I'd sent him to another school now. She expects things from us all the time and never gives anything back. Ok have ranted long enough. Take a deep breath and relax!!!!!!!!!

Learning to add a photo

Having looked at a few other blogs I'm keen to make mine a bit more exciting. Therefore I'm just experimenting with adding a photo. Amazed how professional some peoples blogs look and I'm not quite sure how they do it. Anyway here goes for adding a photo.

My First Ever Blog

This is the first time I've done something like this. I'm on Facebook and Twitter but have never blogged. I'm only on here now because Facebook was down earlier and I was bored. I don't suppose anyone will ever read this, let alone comment. It's quite nice being anonymous, I feel like I can write anything I want without anyone I know ever seeing it.

Had a fairly boring day. Got up about 9.00am and lazed on the settee reading my book. My friend, Karen bought it for me for my birthday and I'm really trying hard to plow through all 751 pages of it. Next I searched for cordless mice on my netbook. Mum wants me to get one for Dad for his birthday. She's buying it but obviously can't get out at the moment due to her foot being in plaster. Following that I popped round to see Mum and Dad. Once back home I caught up on some stuff I'd sky +d whilst tackling the ironing. Then it was a BBQ tea. Mr R did the cooking outside in the rain. Can't wait for the summer to kick in. See I said it was a boring day!!!

Nothing on telly tonight - yet again, hence I'm sitting hear writing my first ever blog.

I'll be gobsmacked if it's seen by another person.
